Special Client Services
A Child's Christmas
Children up to age 16 are registered to receive clothing – especially shoes and coats – and other gifts for Christmas. Toys are donated through the VA Dare Flotilla For Toys boat parade. Dozens of needs are displayed on Angel Trees around SML. Funds donated to “A Child’s Christmas” help to provide assurance to each child that this celebration is for all God’s children, rich or poor.
Back-to-school supplies are provided for those children – kindergarten through high school – whose families are burdened by these additional expenses. Pencils, pens, notebooks, paper, backpacks and more are donated and/or purchased with funds specially donated for this project.
Holiday Food Baskets
