LCM Celebrates the 2015 Walk Event
What a wonderful day for an event to help those in need within our community!!
On a beautiful sunny late summer morning, about 342 individuals and members of 33 teams combined to raise over $53,000 for Lake Christian Ministries at the 3rd Annual Jim Cameron Memorial Walk on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Smith Mountain Lake State Park in Huddleston.

Named in honor of former LCM director, Jim Cameron, much of the support shown for the event this year was a reflection of Cameron’s passion as well as the community’s commitment to helping others, organizers agree.
The families served by LCM include seniors, children, and individuals struggling with job loss, low income, disability, family disruptions and other difficult situations. In a loving Christian atmosphere, LCM provides food, clothing, essential household items and emergency financial aid, all within the boundaries of a $327,000 annual operational budget.
